Universal is opening an entire new theme park set to open in June of 2017. Volcano Bay is inspired by tropical islands and promises to have thrilling attractions and new technology that will help reduce the wait time for each ride. Also, Jimmy Fallon’s ride will soon be unveiled at Universal Studios where Twister used to be. The new attraction will have you racing through New York City with your favorite host, Jimmy Fallon. It’s set to open in the spring of 2017.
Wald Disney World:
Disney is unveiling a whole new world! Pandora – The World of AVATAR, the largest expansion in Disney’s Animal Kingdom history, will feature floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and a Banshee flying attraction, as well as new after-dark entertainment. There isn’t a set date yet, but it is scheduled to open sometime summer 2017.
SeaWorld:
One of SeaWorld’s roller coasters is getting a makeover! Kraken will soon be the first roller coaster that blends in virtual reality and offers a whole new storyline during your ride! SeaWorld has also announced the Orlando’s Electric Ocean, which is a new end-of-day spectacle event with bioluminescent lighting, immersing guests in a glowing sea of wonder. It’s set to debut summer 2017.
