Pro Bowl Returns to Orlando

July 1, 2016

Football fans will be glad to know that the 2017 Pro Bowl will be held in Orlando. The all-star game will move away from Hawaii and arrive in sunny Florida next year and we want to make sure you are well informed about the latest events.

The all-star game will feature an AFC vs. NFC matchup. This is the first time since 2012 that the league is using the traditional format following a three-year experiment with unconferenced squads, which featured past NFL legends drafting from pools of Pro Bowl eligible players.

The event is set to happen on January 29, 2017, which is a Sunday. Prior to the game the stadium will be open for visitors to tour, throw a football around and get hyped for the main event. We highly suggest booking your hotel reservation in advance as rooms are likely to sell out. If you are staying with us at staySky Suites International Drive, you should know that we are located at just 8-10 miles away from the Camping World Stadium where the event will take place.

Keep your eyes out if you want to be among the first to guarantee your ticket.  Exact dates have not yet been released but tickets will go on sale early fall of 2016 for members of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the other 29 NFL teams and Florida Citrus Sports. Everyone else will be able to purchase tickets starting November, 2016.

As usual, the NFL’s best will be in the spotlight as 88 players — 44 from the AFC and 44 from the NFC — are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches.
