ICON Park is ideal for families celebrating Memorial Day weekend because you don’t need admission tickets to enjoy the fun. Parking lots and garages are available throughout the area and you can just walk directly to the location. You can miss this place because The Wheel at ICON Park and the Orlando StarFlyer can easily be seen from miles around! Some of the other attractions include Madame Tussauds Orlando, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and Museum of Illusions to name a few.
If you’re looking for something more appropriate for an older crowd Memorial Day Weekend, visit Pointe Orlando next door! Featuring more of the night life scene, toast the night at Blue Martini or enjoy delicious food and mesmerizing belly dancers at Taverna Opa! There are also stores, like Hollister and Tharoo & Company, located at Pointe Orlando if you want to do some shopping as well.
Live Out Your Disney Adventures
Currently, due to the pandemic, attending Walt Disney World® Theme Parks require both admission tickets and a reservation in order for you to be able to visit the parks. So, you’ll definitely want to plan ahead when it comes to coordinating your Disney vacation. If you are visiting during Memorial Day weekend, making accommodations to attend the Taste of EPCOT® International Flower & Garden Festival will truly be a treat! Take in the beautiful gardens, exhibits and breathtaking topiaries located throughout the park. Don’t forget to try some delicious festival dishes at any of the outdoor kitchen. Wherever you go, or whatever delicious treat you try, it’s sure to be picture-perfect!

After a few days at the parks, sometimes a nice relaxing day at the hotel may be just what you need to unwind before you return home. Plan a family pool day on site! The kids will have lots of fun at our outdoor pool while you while you lounge on the pool deck or unwind in the hot tub. When it’s time to eat, grill up some of your poolside favorites like hot dogs and hamburgers on the BBQ grills located next to the pool area.
