Comedy Club Fun in Orlando

Orlando is home to amazing theme parks and endless attractions that are a dream come true for kids and adults of all ages! However, you also enjoy a good comedy show and would like to spend an “adults only” night during your vacation, the Improv Comedy Club is a spot you must visit. This dinner theater comedy club is a 21 and up establishment located on Pointe Orlando right off International Drive, which is just a few miles from the staySky Suites I-Drive Orlando.

The theater offers dinner and entertainment all in one.  The environment is friendly and inviting, and you are encouraged to meet new people as each table in the room seats up to four people. That means that if you have a party of two, you will be seated with another party of two. The tables are set very near one another and the ambiance is very cozy. The waiters will get your initial orders before the first comedy act opens and once the show starts, they will quietly come around to get you drink refills and food orders, as well.

Improv offers a great mix of known talents, local and amateur comedians depending on the night you decide to visit. And that means that there is always something for every budget. Amateur night usually costs $5 a person and is still a guaranteed great time as they keep each set shorter and you get to watch many different comedians in one night. And tickets to see big name comedians will cost you around $50.

Comedy shows start as early as 6:00pm and as late as 10:30pm and are available Wednesday through Sunday. You can check the calendar for upcoming shows here.

On a side note, before becoming a cast member on NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live,’ David Spade was a “local comedian” at the Improv in Tempe, Arizona, hosting shows regularly. Other Improv alumni include Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey and the list goes on. Orlando is lucky to have such a fun place in town, so we would encourage our guests to experience a night of laughter at the Improv Orlando!
