Blue Man Group

March 11, 2015

So, we’ve been wanting to write a blog post about the Blue Man Group, but kept wondering how we would do so without spoiling the fun. Turns out there is no way to give details about the show and not spoil it. The whole point of the show is that you go without really knowing what to expect exactly. Sure you’re seen the picture of the men painted in blue and maybe even some clips here and there, but TRUST US when we say that unless you’ve seen the show you have no idea what goes on in that auditorium.

To avoid spoilers we are just going to give you the gist of the show and let you figure out the rest after you’ve watched it! Funny, high energy and mysterious is how we would describe the show. The music is contagious, the performers are so talented and the best part is the audience engagement. Get ready to be an active participant in this unique show and spend the most fun couple of hours.

Now, on to the information we can provide: show times, prices and tips.

Showtimes: Shows are at 6, 7, 8 or 9 p.m. depending on the day of the week. You can find more updated information for each day, here.

Pricing: Tickets start at $49 for Florida residents and $70 regular price. But there are many other combo options that will save you some money. You can buy a meal + show or park ticket + show and get a discount. Buying tickets in advance will also save you about $10 per ticket, which can really add up if you’re with your family or bigger party. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more, so if you have your whole crew with you, don’t forget that you can get a better deal. For more information click here.

Tips:

  1. The show is located at Universal Orlando’s City Walk, so there’s plenty to do there! The Hard Rock Café is right by the auditorium and most guests have dinner there prior or after the show. The show is about two hours long, so we’d suggest eating before because there is no intermission during the show!
  2. Children 0-2 get in free. Not sure if taking a baby to the show is a great idea, though, because It can get pretty loud in the theater.
  3. When you buy your ticket be sure to ask if you get free admission to select CityWalk® venues. This is kind of a hidden secret we suspect many people don’t take advantage of.
