If you are planning on visiting Orlando this fall, then you must then the Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. Visiting Disney may be seen as a “trip for the kids” for some, but at the Food & Wine Festival, you’ll definitely get your share of adult fun! The festival has plenty of fun for the whole family as Epcot has some kid-favorite rides such as Frozen Ever After and Sorin, while the festival offers all the fun for the parents.

During the Food & Wine Festival the World Showcase part of Epcot, which is where all the 11 permanent country pavilions are, gets even more complete with a diverse amount of temporary kiosks representing several other countries from all around the world.

These kiosks sell food and drinks that are typical of those countries just like the permanent pavilions usually do. However, instead of serving a complete meal, the portions are purposefully sold as an appetizer size. That way guests can try dishes and specialty drinks from all around the world without getting full in their first round.

The kiosks are really good about pairing a good drink with their dish too. So if you enjoy having an adult beverage here and there, you will definitely be able to try an amazing variety of liquor that represents each country and their culture. There are beer flights in Germany, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon in France, Prosecco in Italy, Kung Fu Punch in China, Mango Lassi with S?mrus Chai Cream Liqueur in India, Frozen Mojito in the Islands of the Caribbean, Frozen Caipirinha in Brazil and much more!

The Food & Wine Festival is included in the price of admissions for your regular ticket and you can purchase food and drinks s you go. All dishes and drinks vary from around $4-$11 each and you could probably try a between four and eight pairings before calling it quits. There are a LOT of tempting options, so a good strategy is to look up the menu in advance and make a list of your TOP 10 favorites. That way you can make sure to save some space for your priority dishes, instead of filling up on the ones you could have passed.

Everything in the park still operates the same during the festival too. All rides are open normally and the great thing about it is that ride lines might actually be shorter since the public will be well divided between the World Showcase and The Future World.

We hope to see you very soon at the Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista for a wonderful Disney trip at your favorite Disney vacation rental!

We were very pleased with everything. The hotel was nice, the staff was courteous, the room was clean and the beds comfortable.
