Magical Dining Month in Orlando

August 22, 2016

magical dining month

If you are a fan of extraordinary cuisine and affordable prices, this is an event you MUST attend during your trip to Orlando. A trip to Orlando to visit the theme parks can come at a high price point if you decide to explore all the amazing restaurants that Orlando has to offer. But during Magical Dining month you will be able to enjoy prix fixe dinners for just $33 per person at a variety of sophisticated restaurants.

We locals, wait all year long to enjoy a fine dining experience without breaking the bank, so we wanted to share this secret with you. Upscale restaurants such as Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, Landry’s Seafood, Il Mulino New York Trattoria at the Walt Disney World Swan hotel, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood and The Melting Pot are just some of the participating restaurants that offer a special menu during this month-long event that will be sure to satisfy your taste bud, and your wallet.

If you are staying with us at staySky Suites I-Drive Orlando, there are plenty of restaurants close by on International Drive that you will be able to enjoy. The way it works is that each participating restaurant has a separate menu to offer for the $33 special. The $33 includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert of choice from the prix fixe menu, so guests never leave hungry! It must be noted that restaurants don’t usually have their most expensive dishes like their lobster tail, top sirloin or prime rib eye on the pre fixe menu. Or if they do, the portions would probably be a tad smaller than usual.  But the value is still absurdly good as some dishes at these restaurants can cost triple the amount of what they typically charge during Magical Dining Month! The menu options can be viewed online for most restaurants, so you can always judge what would be your best option by just doing a quick online search for the restaurants you are interested in.

The event begins August 29th (preview week) and ends October 2. Reservations are highly encouraged as restaurants get pretty busy, so make sure to call ahead. For a complete list of participating restaurants and more information visit http://www.visitorlando.com/magicaldining/

Plus, you will be dining for a good cause as one dollar from each meal will be donated to The Russell Home for atypical children.

We hope to see you soon for a magical dining experience in Orlando!
